Is there a Traitor in the House? 14th Amendment Blueprint for Congressional Expulsion

January 15, 2021 – Many people know the Fourteenth Amendment bestows Equal Protection on those within the borders of the United States, and apportions representatives to the federal government. But many have not heard about the protections afforded by the Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, to protect the nation against insurrection or rebellion by “elected” members of Congress. This section states:

No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State,to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

U.S. Constitution, Amendment XIV, Section 3.

What this means is that members of either Branch of Congress – both the Senate or the House – may be expelled if any one of them engages in insurrection or rebellion against the United States. As a requirement to hold an esteemed office, members are required to swear a solemn “oath” under God, to “uphold” the U.S. Constitution and pledge their allegiance to the United States, against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Congressional Oath of Office:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Oath of Office for U.S. Senate and House Members

Clearly, if it is proven that any member of Congress gave reconnaissance tours to purported insurrectionists as reported to have occurred the “day before” the Capitol siege on January 6th – if accurate, such traitorous renegade lawmakers could be expelled and stripped of the privilege to serve as “Honorable” members of Congress. They also could be criminally prosecuted if it is proven they knowingly engaged in a conspiracy to aid and abet the insurrectionists, resulting in the death of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick.

Troubling Acts that Point Toward a Conspiracy from the Inside

It is troubling to learn that Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley’s office panic button appears to have been “mysteriously” removed at some point before the riotous siege. The removal was discovered when members of her staff frantically moved furniture in front of office doors to block would-be attackers from gaining entrance. It was at this point in the siege when staff discerned the unauthorized removal of the emergency alert system. To add to the appearance of a conspiracy to imperil Democratic lawmakers, Congressman James Clyburn found upon his arrival earlier that morning the absence of a security perimeter by Capitol Police when it was widely known there could be mob violence later that day. Congressman Clyburn’s skepticism about their being adequate security, turned to anguish, when an unmarked office he regularly used had been the target of the riotous attack. These  validating events supported his suspicions of this attempted coup being an inside job – a full-fledged conspiracy to uproot Democracy & frighten or harm lawmakers. This theory was supported when reports of locked side-doors of the Capitol being opened from the inside – allowing the unruly mob to gain access. It was also supported when a man with zip-tie handcuffs was found inside Capitol chambers, and a hangman’s noose was erected outside on Capitol grounds.

So What’s in an Oath?

It is also equally troubling to learn that during the riot, the newly sworn Colorado Rep., Lauren Boebert tweeted out “during the siege” that one of the named targets of the insurrection, Speaker Nancy Pelosi had been “removed” from the Chambers – even though she and others had been instructed not to give any information as to any member’s location. To make maters worse, this newly sworn representative refused to leave her gun outside of the House chambers, flouting the newly installed metal detectors – refusing a search, and making the Speaker to create a new policy that would fine those who disobeyed the rule – a rule to be voted upon on January 21. It is most telling that the House must investigate her action to determine is she should be expelled or censured.

The Hawkish Charade Continues Even After Siege Upon Capitol

But most troubling of all, Senators Hawley and Cruz continued the unabashed charade of calling the election a fraud, when both are attorneys, and as such, as charged with having superior knowledge of the workings of the law. Because of that knowledge, they would be keenly aware that over 50 Trump lawsuits challenging the election results had been lost – thrown out of court because of lack of evidence – lack of any provable or verifiable fraud. Yet, the charade continued in both House and Senate amassing well over 100 sore losers joining in their chorus. Even though they chant for Unity to rebut the impeachment – it appears that they do not chant for Unity to embrace the wishes of over 7 million more Americans who voted for Joe Biden. So what will it take for the truth to be visible to all those nay-sayers and traitorous seditionists to recognize the Biden victory? For Congressional seditionists, it will literally take an Act of Congress to put them on their rightful path of expulsion. For the rest of the insurrectionists – it will take the  heavy had of the law, and specialists in cult psychology to deprogram those who drank the cool-aid dished out over the last four years by the disgraced, and soon to be “former” narcissist-in-chief – Donald Trump.
