November 15, 2020 – The United States Elections have been deemed “safe” and “secure” by Trump’s own Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in addition to non-partisan organization VerifiedVoting.org. Yet, despite their findings, Trump continues his bellicose pronouncements that the election was “rigged” and steeped in “fraud” – but despite this, his own appointed government agency heads contradict him. In fact, the Director of CISA, Christopher Krebs, put out statements on Nov. 12, 2020:
“There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”
That same agency went on to assure ALL Americans that the security of the 2020 election was the most “secure” on record, stating:
“The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history. Right now, across the country, election officials are reviewing and double checking the entire election process prior to finalizing the result.”
CISA Statement Informs Voters of Recounts in “Close” Elections
“When states have close elections, many will recount ballots. All of the states with close results in the 2020 presidential race have paper records of each vote, allowing the ability to go back and count each ballot if necessary. This is an added benefit for security and resilience. This process allows for the identification and correction of any mistakes or errors.”
Securing the Vote is as Important as Securing the Machines that Count Them
CISA also points out to those interested in the machines that tally votes across the states:
“Other security measures like pre-election testing, state certification of voting equipment, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s (EAC) certification of voting equipment help to build additional confidence in the voting systems used in 2020.”
Trump Administration’s Own Agency Informs Voters Election Results are Trustworthy
Trump’s own agency, told the American people:
“While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too. When you have questions, turn to elections officials as trusted voices as they administer elections.”
Meaning, there are no verifiable occurrences of fraud – and just because Trump and his administration claim it to be so – doesn’t make it a fact.
Verified Voting
A nonpartisan organization, VerifiedVoting.org keeps tallies on state infrastructures and voting machines across the US. One can simply plug-in the state to query the type of voting machines present in any particular state and determine what type of voting equipment that is being used, and if a paper back-up is available to be used for an audit of the ballots already cast, it will provide that information.
States can Audit Ballots Already Cast
There are several mechanisms to investigate ballot counts for irregularities, including audits. In fact, the states in which Trump is contesting the elections ALL use paper back-ups for the vote count.
It was reported by the Hill back in August, as well as CISA, that only a handful of states would ‘not’ have paper backups to the 2020 vote – and none of them include the states that Trump is contesting. The only eight states without some form of a paper back-up are: Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky and New Jersey. Experts conclude this isn’t safe – but most importantly, none of those states are the one’s that Trump is contesting. So state audits will put this in perspective for the Trump voters who wrongly believe their candidate had won.
Barr None
Despite all the evidence that Joe Biden is the President-Elect – Trump’s Attorney General, advocate and confidant, Bill Barr is looking to make Trump’s unfounded, and pre-election “voting irregularities” claims a reality – launching investigations based upon no evidence of wrongdoing, other than Trump’s own claims of fraud. As a result of this untenable investigation, Barr’s top Department of Justice’s election investigator quit in protest.
The Count Goes on in Georgia
Twelve days after the Nov. 3, 2020 election, Georgia is winding-up the counting. As of today, Nov. 15, 2020, Joe Biden is clearly in the state lead, which should not even be a head-turner, as he has already met all the requirements to be the next President-elect of the United States, According to the Associated Press, Biden won a decisive vote, just under 79 million votes nationwide, as compared to Trump’s nationwide vote tally of just under 73 million – clearly placing Biden almost 6 million votes ahead of those cast for Donald Trump. Yet despite Biden’s decisive popular-vote and electoral vote victories – amassing 290 votes of a needed 270 electoral votes over Trump’s 232 electoral votes. Biden wins – even if he doesn’t win Georgia, although at the time of this article, Biden is leading Trump in George with over 14 thousand more popular votes and with 99% of the votes tallied there. If and when Biden wins Georgia, he will have 306 electoral votes when all is said and done. There is no doubt, Joe Biden is the clear victor – despite Trump and his minions crying foul and continuing their victory charade.
Bruce Schneier – Internationally Cybersecurity Expert & Guru on the Election Machinery
In my recent interview with international cybersecurity “guru,” Bruce Schneier, doesn’t believe there was any evidence of election hacking, and that the election machinery, for the most part is secure – despite there still being a few states that use “touch screens” without a paper ballot backup to audit the votes. But again, those are the states that Biden won decisively, and cannot be legitimately contested by the Trump administration, as the margin of victory was clearly greater for Joe Biden than any recount could muster.
So for all the conspiracy theorists, the fraud enthusiasts and the ‘never a Democrat voters’ – think again. Not only did Joe Biden receive the largest number of votes “historically” ever cast in any American election – he is the President- elect, slated to take office on January, 20, 2021. Admit it, Joe wasn’t Sleepy as Trump would have you believe – he was Stealth Mode Joe – and he made it all the way to the finish line.
America Needs to Take a Look in the Mirror
What does this election say about America? It says that more Americans would rather vote for a leader who is a well-respected, gentile, level-headed, than a vengeful, untruthful and demeaning incumbent. Yet, despite Donald Trump’s callous, distasteful, and malignant words and deeds – he still garnered millions of votes – more than most people would have thought possible. That says a lot about the values Americans put on truth, diplomacy and statesmanship – it says a lot about the nation – although I would hope, to quote the President: “there were very fine people, on both sides.“

Article Updated November 18, 2020 – Trump fired Christopher Krebs, Director of CISA, after Krebs announced the election was safe and secure. After the firing, Deputy Director of CISA, Matthew Travis quit. It appears that doing ‘too good a job’ protecting democracy and ensuring there is no election interference can get you fired. The third in command is slated to take the position at CISA.
