Part 1- Discussion includes what traditional dental and medical professionals overlook as the source of illness and disease. Also explored are issues of patient informed consent–knowing what the dentist is putting in your mouth and asking questions about it. How the long overdue necessity that, the public lobby their legislators for dental coverage reform--and especially, for people who have chemical and metal sensitivities. How one large molar with a mercury laden filling if thrown in a lake can deem that lake off-limits due to mercury contamination.

Despite the growing body of evidence, and new awareness of toxic materials used in dental restoration, government-issued coverage in most instances pays 'only' for the lower-priced toxic dental material--despite the growing body of evidence against it, and the growing number of people who have inherent chemical sensitivities and allergies. Patients need choice--and government insurance mandates don't seem to provide it to the very people who need it most. An eye-opening interview that may stun those who never thought to ask their dentist, What are you putting in my teeth?

Part 2 - Furthers the discussion on dental toxicity, and culminates in how to achieve whole-body health. Also explored is the first US toxic tort case where mercury amalgams were challenged in court as a source of severe disease and disability, including MS. A harrowing case, but one that had a positive outcome for the patient, after being poisoned from mercury toxicity--an exhaustive battle that challenged existing dental policies.
